PEEPS for Proffessionals covers all aspects of relevant applicable legislation appertaining to disabled people including the UN Charters, anti-discriminative legislation and of course the RRO (in particular Articles 14 & 15) together with the penalties for non-compliance and relevant supporting guidance.  The course also covers an insight into disability, the social model, communication with disabled people, the impact of specific impairments on evacuation and how these can be overcome. 

The second day of the course is the practical implementation of evacuation strategies and PEEPs planning.  Delegates are encouraged to bring their own plans and scenarios to work through. 

PEEPs for Professionals is accredited by both the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) and by the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) who have also awarded 12 hrs CPD for attending delegates.

The cost of the two-day public course is £450 ex VAT per delegate with a 10% discount for IFSM, IFE and BIFM members.

The delegate rate for an in-house course is £215 ex VAT for a minimum of  15 delegates – in-house courses are tailored for your own organisation.  

At the conclusion of all courses, delegates are provided with an electronic  toolkit of templates to include: Evacuation Strategy Document; Environmental Fire Risk Assessment for Disabled People; Disabled People’s Data Collection Model; PEEPs Data Collection Form and PEEPs Plan.
