Working in partnership to solve
data management challenges
One of today's key issues for the Fire
and Rescue Services is resolving data management issues whether to meet
Government's targets or improve cost efficiencies in using standard paper based
forms.
Through flexible working to support the Government's wider
agenda of social inclusion, neighbourhood renewal and crime reduction, new
methods are now available to help Authorities meet and exceed their targets
without increasing overall costs and even at times perhaps reducing them.
TripleAconsult delivers innovative data management solutions by forming
specific partnerships with global partners to provide different solutions to
suit a vast range of requirements. Over the past year, we have been listening
to the Institute of Fire Engineers and discussing with some Brigades to
understand their difficulties with current systems. This has enabled us to
develop appropriate set of solutions to support and add value to their existing
approaches.
At present, the 'one size fits all' solutions are clearly
not appropriate across all authorities where organisations require flexible
solutions to meet their specific needs. As an example, TripleAconsult has been
developing a multiple approach to collating data for the new Incident Recording
System (IRS) and to assist in the challenge of meeting and exceeding community
fire safety targets for home assessments a new approach is now available
providing an adaptable system which can be altered to meet ever changing
priorities.
We are working with The Institute of Fire Engineers to
understand fully requirements for these new developments which we shall be
showing at Fire Summit 2007. Following the Summit there will be trials with
several Brigades working closely with programme managers to understand the
benefits of our systems and how easy they are to implement for achieving
productive results.
